The basics

What do you get with a certified translation?

A certified translation includes:

  • The complete translation of the document.
  • A statement certifying that the translation is complete and accurate.
  • A statement of competence in the relevant languages.
  • Name, signature and date of the certification.
  • A professional, organized format for presentation.
Important note

A certified translation does not mean that Integramerica guarantees the approval of a petition, application or process. Final acceptance depends on USCIS, the court, university, consulate, authority or receiving institution.

Accuracy

Linguistic accuracy and understanding of context

A professional translation is not just about substituting words. The translator must preserve the meaning, intent and structure of the document, using terminology appropriate to the legal, academic, medical or commercial context.

In official documents, fidelity to the original is the priority. Seals, notes, signatures, annotations and illegible parts must be correctly identified, without inventing or interpreting information that does not appear in the document.

For commercial or informational materials, it may also be necessary to adapt the tone and certain expressions so the message is natural and appropriate for the target audience.

How it works

A simple and clear process

1

Send us the document

Send a clear copy by WhatsApp or email and indicate the original language, the required language, where it will be presented, the deadline, and whether you need a certified, notarized or professional translation.

2

Receive the quote

We review the number of pages, word count, legibility, technical complexity, format, language, required certifications and delivery time. We then send you the price and estimated timeline, with no obligation.

3

Receive the translation

Once approved, we prepare the translation and deliver it by email or, when applicable, in printed format with certification and shipping.

Good to know

Not all certifications are the same

Certified translation

Includes a statement of accuracy and competence from the translator.

Notarized translation

The signature of the person certifying the translation is acknowledged before a notary. Notarization does not certify the linguistic quality of the work; it only authenticates the signature.

Sworn translation

Some countries require the translation to be done by an officially authorized or sworn translator in that jurisdiction. This is not the same as a certified translation in the United States.

Apostille of the certification

In certain cases, a notarized translation certification may require an apostille for use abroad. This should be confirmed with the receiving authority.

USCIS

Translations for submission to USCIS

Foreign-language documents submitted to USCIS must be accompanied by a complete English translation and a translator's certification of the accuracy of the translation and their language competence. Integramerica can prepare certified translations following those general requirements.

Important

Certifying the translation does not guarantee approval of the case, nor does it prevent USCIS from requesting additional evidence, a new translation or clarifications. Final acceptance remains with USCIS.

Quality

Every translation deserves a careful review

Fidelity to the original

We do not add or remove information.

Appropriate terminology

We use terms suited to the legal, academic, medical or commercial purpose of the document.

Names and dates review

We carefully verify names, numbers, dates and references.

Clear format

When possible, we keep a visual structure that helps compare the translation with the original.

Confidentiality

Documents received are handled in accordance with our internal policies and service terms.

For businesses

Translations that protect your company's image

Commercial translations must convey the message accurately and keep a tone appropriate for the target audience. We can assist with contracts, presentations, correspondence, corporate materials, product descriptions, export documents, manuals and policies, and institutional content.

When a project requires cultural or marketing adaptation, the scope should be defined in advance, since a literal legal translation and a commercial adaptation have different objectives.
