Immigration attorney referrals

We connect your case with an immigration attorney

Integramerica offers a referral service for people who need to consult their immigration situation with an independent attorney. We collect basic initial information and, when possible, refer the client to an affiliated attorney whose experience may match the type of matter raised.

Consulta profesional
A referral, not legal advice

Integramerica is not a law firm and does not provide immigration legal advice or representation. The evaluation, fees and acceptance of the case correspond exclusively to the independent attorney to whom you are referred.Integramerica no es una firma de abogados y no proporciona asesoría legal migratoria ni representación. La evaluación, los honorarios y la aceptación del caso corresponden exclusivamente al abogado independiente referido.

How it works

A clear referral process

1

Send us general information

Tell us your name; the country you are writing from; the state where you live, if in the U.S.; phone and email; the general type of matter; and whether you have an upcoming hearing, interview or deadline. Do not send A-numbers, Social Security, full passport or confidential documents at this stage.

2

We review the general type of request

Integramerica organizes the basic information solely to identify whether there is an affiliated attorney who can receive the inquiry. This initial review is not a legal evaluation, an eligibility determination or an attorney-client relationship.

3

We make the referral

When a professional is available, we provide the contact information or forward the request to the attorney. The attorney independently decides whether to accept the inquiry or the case, which documents are needed, their fees, and what legal strategy, if any, may be recommended.

Matters

Common immigration matters for which a referral may be requested

These are reasons to request a referral, not options that Integramerica evaluates.

Family immigration

Referrals for inquiries about petitions for spouses, children, parents and other eligible relatives.

Residency & adjustment of status

Inquiries about possible paths to permanent residency or to complete processes already started.

Citizenship & naturalization

Matters related to eligibility, applications, interviews and records that require legal review.

Employment-based immigration

Inquiries related to labor petitions, professionals, specialized workers and other business or professional categories.

Humanitarian cases

Referrals for matters such as asylum, U Visa, VAWA, Special Immigrant Juvenile Status, TPS and other humanitarian relief.

Immigration court defense

Referrals for people with immigration court proceedings, removal orders, detention, appeals, motions or upcoming hearing dates.

Visas & consular processing

Inquiries related to temporary or immigrant visas, consular processes, waivers and procedures before embassies or consulates.

Investors & entrepreneurs

Referrals for inquiries about EB-5 and other options that may relate to investment, employment or business activity.

Other matters

If your situation is not listed, request a referral and describe it briefly.

General information

Some matters that require review by an attorney

The existence of an immigration category does not mean that a person is eligible. Requirements, exceptions, risks and consequences depend on the particular facts, the immigration history and current law.

U.S. citizens and permanent residents may file certain petitions for relatives, depending on the relationship and category. There are immigration categories based on employment, education, experience, achievements, investment and employer needs. Humanitarian protections, such as asylum, U Visa, VAWA, Special Immigrant Juvenile Status and TPS, have specific requirements, deadlines and risks that require individual evaluation. Programs and amounts (for example, EB-5) may change and must be verified at the time of consultation.

  • · Help with the administrative transmission of documents when expressly authorized.
Integramerica does not
  • · Determine immigration eligibility.

  • · Guarantee that an attorney will accept the case, or guarantee immigration results.
Independent professionals

Relationship with the referred attorneys

The referred attorneys are not employees or representatives of Integramerica, unless expressly stated otherwise in writing. Each attorney performs their own conflict check; decides whether to accept the inquiry or representation; sets their fees; formalizes their contract directly with the client; and is responsible for the legal advice and representation they provide.

Fees

About the consultation

Submitting a referral request is free

The consultation with the attorney may be free or paid, according to each professional's conditions. You will be informed before it is scheduled.

Do you have an upcoming hearing, detention or deadline?

State it clearly in the form. A referral does not guarantee that an attorney will be available, nor does it suspend any legal deadline. In immigration emergencies or detention, you should immediately seek an authorized attorney.
