certificate of good standing apostille service
The correct route

What to know before you begin

The certificate's name varies by state: Certificate of Good Standing, Certificate of Status or Certificate of Existence. It is not the same as a public-registry printout or a certified copy of the Articles.

The apostille follows the state that issued the record or commissioned the notary. A Delaware company does not apostille its Good Standing in Florida merely because it has a Miami office.

How it works

Expected process

1

We confirm the checklist

We review the request from the foreign bank, counsel or authority.

2

We obtain or prepare

We order certificates and copies or guide corporate execution.

3

Apostille and delivery

Each record is coordinated through the correct jurisdiction.

About timing

Status certificates often have freshness limits set by the foreign bank or authority, so ordering too early can be counterproductive. Timing depends on the state, the entity's status, certifications, signatures and courier service.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Final requirements are always controlled by the receiving authority.

Are Good Standing and Certificate of Status the same?+
The concept is similar, but the official name and certification vary by state.
Will a registry printout work?+
Usually not when an official certificate or certified copy is requested.
Does the apostille prove solvency?+
No. It authenticates a public signature or seal, not finances, taxes or ownership.
Do the Articles need another apostille?+
When requested in addition to Good Standing, they are normally a separate record and apostille.
Can you prepare corporate powers?+
We can review the document route and formalities; legal wording should come from your lawyer or recipient.
